I'm late!

I know, I know, I'm late with my weekly post! Most humble apologies and let me make it up to you with some shiny new pretties.

La Belle Iseult is the new group gift from The White Armory, this one in a lovely teal shade.

Here is a look from the back. The texture really evokes the feel of yards and yards of heavy rich fabric.

The hair is Dracarys from rezology, inspired by the TV-series Game of Thrones. The accessories are :[P]:- Erveil Unisex Jewelry:// Golden, Hammer. I can't for the life of me remember where I got it, but if anyone knows do feel free to let me know so I can give credit, because I do love this set. It also comes in Anchor.

New week, new gifts.

I have two outfits for you this week, one from a store that a friend told me about. So let's dive right into the pictures so you can see for yourselves.

This is the October group gift from Sascha's Designs. It also comes with a full flexi skirt that I chose not to picture here.

I added the included chest ruffle and shoulder attachment. Here's what it looks like from behind. I quite like it, it's very shiny.

Flux Stilettos from ECRU matched the gown quite well. This is the group gift version that comes with a HUD of eight colors.

The latest group gift from Zuri Rayna, Antique Pearls Diadem - Tropical, looked great with this dress. The hair is Butterfly 047 from rezology.

The Lotis Armlets are also a current group gift at Zuri Rayna, and also matched the dress quite well.

That's all for the first outfit, so let's take a look at the second one.

This week's group gift from The White Armory is a two piece set in sparkly purple called Goddess of Silva. It comes with a matching belt as well.

Here is a view of the back. The hair is Scarlet Viper from rezology, a super long braid done in excellent detail.

Flux Stilettos group gift from ECRU suited this outfit as well, a versatile shoe. The full version comes in many more colors and is available all week for 60L.

MissSL Lumine Cameo Texture Change Set from Chop Zuey rounded out this outfit quite well. I only used the earrings and bracelet, but the set also includes a choker, all texture change via HUD.

Here I am again with some more pretty pictures of shiny new things. So without further ado:

This week's group gift from The White Armory is Dragonstone Barrows Gown Set-Rellekah. It is a fitmesh gown with optional flexi skirt attachment as shown in the picture.

Here is what the gown looks like without the flexi skirt attachments. The chain on the front is a separate attachment.

These mules from #EMPIRE, Tagetes, fit quite well with this gown as well. In case you don't remember, they were a VIP group gift and are still available for #EMPIRE VIP group members at the main store.

The jewelry set Ophelia in gold I thought matched the outfit. It is of course from Chop Zuey, still available in the gift section of the main store. The set also comes in silver. The hair is rezology Graceful Goddess, and the skin is the latest group gift from Lumae, worn with Glimmer Lipstick. The eyes are another freebie, this one from InkHeart for the SL Frees & Offers group.

InkHeart has a Halloween mini  hunt going on at their main store right now with twelve gorgeous eyes for 0L, all come in both system eyes and mesh attachment. See my Flickr Photostream for images of all the prizes.

I'm back!

...and with new pretty shinies to show you. I could go into a lengthy explanation of my absence, but I think you would rather see the pictures. #amIright

So, without further ado:

This month's group gift from NSP/[MUSE] is an enchanting gown with a matching jewelled shoulder piece. Appropriately named Enchantress.

The Rose Brooch shoulder piece comes with a resize script for easy fitting to any shape.

I matched the dress with these mules from #EMPIRE called Tagetes. They were a VIP group gift a few months ago, although still available at the #EMPIRE store for VIP members. They're texture change so you can match them with almost any outfit.

The hair is from rezology, called Voluminous Topknot, and the skin is an older item from Lumae.

I love how the little wisps make the hair look so realistic.

Another gorgeous creation by the very talented Bee Dumpling. This week's free group gift is TWA Lostwithiel Lake Mesh Gown Set - Fallowry, which can be worn as in the picture, or without the sleeves. It also comes with two brooch versions, one with a train and one without.

TWA Summer Meadow Slink High Heels - Bluebell matched the dress perfectly I think.

For the extra elegance, I added jewelry from my favorite jewelry store, Chop Zuey. This set is called Amour Delicata Plt/Blu and I thought it matched the dress quite well. The set includes necklace, earrings and a bracelet. The skin is the latest group gift from Lumae, slightly enchanced with a lipstick from the same store. Glimmer Lipsticks are available for free in several shades.

Here is the skin without the lipstick. A subtle yet essential difference.

The hair is rezology Blood Oath, I thought it complemented the outfit perfectly.

Second Life: Land of the Rising Sun

That would be Japan, for those of you who didn't already know, and the reason for the title is this week's amazing group gift from The White Armory, which is a stunning kimono, and comes with matching geta and Slink nail applier. But why am I writing about it when I can show you?

The Subarashi Mesh Kimono Set-Harbor is a wonderfully detailed kimono in ocean blue with amazingly detailed texture. The high collar and closed neck indicate this is a kimono for everyday use, not one that would be worn by a Geisha or Maiko. The obi also is simple, yet elegant.

The matching geta are rigged for SLINK Flat Feet.

And a SLINK nail applier makes your outfit match down to the toenails.

The hair is Braided Top Knot 2 by rezology, a somewhat messy bun combined with braided long bangs. The skin is Lumae :: Eirtae - T4 - Fawn // Cheri, now available at the Lumae main store, although I bought it at Genre.

Second Life: Chop Zuey @ SWANK

As most of you shopaholics know, there are always loads of shopping events going on in Second Life, it's hard to keep track of them all. I recently heard though that my favorite jeweller in all of SL is going to be at SWANK in June, starting on the 5th. This is one for the guys.

The item featured by Chop Zuey (of course) is Crux Invictus in Gold, set with black gems. The set includes necklace, ring and earrings.

Crux Invictus is a bold set with heavy gold chain and lots of gems.

All in all, Belle has done it again, created magic. I recommend a visit to SWANK, to see the set in world, and of course to look around the event. The new round starts June 5th. Keep an eye on their web site for updates.

Second Life: Fresh Freebies For Friends

Allitteration always accelerates amusement. *grins*

Anyways, literary strategies aside, I do have some pretty pictures to show you as well. I found some nice group gifts this week, as well as a Limited Edition gown from The White Armory. So without further ado, let us proceed to the shinies.

First out, the limited edition gown from The White Armory. It's called Shadow of Celesta - Imprisoned, and as always features hand painted textures by the very talented Bee Dumpling. The hair is Butterfly 171 by rezology, a flowing long style with a slight wave to it. The accessories (which will show better in the following pictures) are from Chop Zuey of course, a recent group gift, Ophelia set in Gold. The same set is also available in silver for anyone, no group needed.

Next out is another outfit from The White Armory, this one is this week's group gift, Les Temps des Fleurs Bleu, a gorgeous summer dress in diaphanous chiffon with cute bow accents on the sleeves. The hair is Dream by rezology, a loose medium length style with two side braids that I thought went very well with the look of the outfit. The shoes are Summer Meadow Bluebell by The White Armory.

Last, but not least, is the latest group gift from !gO!, Paula summer romper in light yellow with red accents. I matched the outfit with Dahlia heels (for medium SLINK feet) from #EMPIRE# which come with a HUD to change the textures of four different parts of the shoe independently, to match almost any outfit. I thought Sine 2 from rezology topped off the look quite well (see what I did there?). It's a medium length hair with quite a bit of wave to it, pulled up in a loose ponytail. It felt quite summery.

And just so you can get a good look at the Ophelia set from Chop Zuey, here's one more picture. All the pieces contain resize scripts for easy fitting. The gold set is the group gift, while the silver set is available for anyone to buy for 0L. There are a whole bunch of other gifts as well, both for group members and non-members, so I highly recommend popping over there to have a look.
