Second Life: Loordes of London - August Group Gift

If you did not already know, the Loordes of London store group is free to join, and every month a new group gift is sent out in group notices. Usually the group gift is a new or recent release in a special color not sold in the store. Considering the quality of designs at Loordes, it is a great opportunity to score some amazing items for free.

The group gift this month is a classy knee-length pencil skirt. It works for both the casual shopping date, and the less casual job interview.

I matched The Ballets Russes skirt with the Lucci Tank which was a previous group gift, and the Palermo heels for Slink High Feet, which are a new release available at The Designer Circle. I accessorized with The Keep necklace and new release Gilgamesh Undone earrings and bracelets.

Second Life: Loordes of London - New Releases this Weekend

For work this weekend I have the pleasure of wearing the latest releases, featured for Fi*Friday, Lyfe of Style and Designer Showcase. First out is today's outfit in earthy brown and dark red.

From top to bottom, I am wearing the Nefertiti's Splendor #17 earrings, La Boheme Ceramic Necklace in Red, The Joplin Rock #11 mesh top, the Kings Sports Bra in Chocolate, Nubian Queen #1 bracelets, Allier Slacks #26 and The Hetaera Release #11 sandals for Slink Flat Feet. All of the items I am wearing are for sale at Fi*Friday, except the sandals which are available at Lyfe of Style.

 

Next out is tomorrow's outfit, for which I chose to wear the latest in swimsuit fashion. I rarely get to wear a swimsuit in RL so I jump at the opportunity to wear one in SL, especially one as gorgeous as this.

Again, from top to bottom, I am wearing Nefertiti's Splendor #16 earrings, Splashdown One-Piece #7 swimsuit, and Dr. Shoeseurs #21 high heeled two-tone mules for Slink High Feet. I chose not to wear a lot of jewelry with this because really, who wears jewelry to the beach? These items are available all over the place really. Last, but certainly not least, for Sunday's outfit I chose to wear something fitting in the heat wave we are having where I live, a sassy minidress which is on flash sale this week so hurry up and get yours before it's back to full price.

I am reminded each week how incredibly lucky I am to be working at my very favorite store in SL, where I have access to all these amazingly gorgeous items, AND I get to do what I enjoy most, help people.
